Big News from the Farm: Our Greenhouse is in process!

We’re thrilled to share that our working farm has taken its next big step toward self-sustainability — we’ve officially started our very own greenhouse and will be done in a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, we planted in our open gardens and started cooking some of our vegetables — packed with flavor and harvested just steps from our kitchen.

Surplus produce is shared with our neighboring community — a small step toward giving back and growing local.

Herbs such as basil, rosemary, mint and more are thriving — perfect for fresh meals now and dried for year-round use.

With the greenhouse in place soon, we’re looking forward to producing even more varieties of fruit and veggies, regardless of season.

The focus of Mountain Pastures is to grow into a self-sustaining working farm and lodge where families reconnect with each other and with the land — enjoying wholesome, homegrown food from farm to fork, serving fresh seasonal meals with ingredients grown and raised on-site: cage-free eggs, homegrown vegetables, pasture-raised lamb and beef.
